Special Dialogue: Inaka No Arukikata in Sri Lanka

Introduction

Welcome to INAKA NO ARUKIKATA: The Art of Immersion in Rural Japan! In this special edition, we focus on Sri Lanka, a country facing similar over-tourism challenges to Japan. While popular tourist spots in Sri Lanka, like Tokyo and Kyoto, are bustling with visitors, the rural areas often see little of this tourism influx and continue to struggle for recognition.

Exploring rural Sri Lanka, like rural Japan, presents challenges such as limited information, inadequate infrastructure, and issues with services like Wi-Fi and electronic payments. However, once you navigate these hurdles, the rewards of experiencing these regions are significant.

We look forward to exploring these topics and discovering the rich, immersive experiences that await beyond the tourist hotspots.
